We'll meet at the Arch of Galerius at 7 pm and start our fascinating tour along the Via Egnatia, the road built to connect the ancient colonies of the Roman Empire, from the Adriatic Sea all the way to Byzantium. Ready for our journey into the past?

On this free tour, we'll take a walking tour through the remains of one of the key roads of the Empire. Also, did you know that this was the road used by St. Paul the Apostle to spread the message of Christ? Before making our way to the church of St. Pantaleon, we'll first admire the Rotunda of Galerius, the oldest church in Thessaloniki.

Then, we'll continue walking along Via Egnatia and visit the church of Acheiropoietos, a Byzantine temple from the 5th century. And another of the monuments we'll be visiting is Hagia Sophia, located in an area declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
