Algarve Old Towns Tour
Having picked you up from your hotel in Albufeira at 8 am, we'll board a comfortable minibus ready for your Algarve adventure. The first stop on the tour will be Olhão, located in the eastern Algarve. We'll stroll around this quaint seaside village, a historic fishing port, and visit its local market to learn all about the typical produce of the region.
Leaving Olhão behind, we'll head to in Tavira, one of the Algarve's most beautiful and photographed cities. Its historic centre and its bridge over the Gilão River, which dates back to Roman times, make the town a fascinating place to visit.
Around halfway through the day, you'll have the opportunity to renew energy with a delicious lunch (not included) in Santa Luzia, not far from Tavira. After eating, we'll hit the road agin in the direction of Faro, the capital of the Algarve region.
In Faro, you'll be offered the opportunity to do a guided tour of the Medieval centre of the city to admire the Faro Cathedral and the macabre Chapel of Bones... if you dare! Alternatively, you can choose to enjoy a boat trip on Ria Formosa (not included), spending an hour cruising though the Algarve's spectacular natural landscapes.
For the finishing touch on your day trip, You'll then return to your hotel in Albufeira for around 5 pm.
