On this tour we'll visit Brussels, the Belgian and European capital. Discover the home of waffles, see the Grand Place, say hi to the Manneken Pis and try authentic Belgian beer.
Brussels Day Trip
We leave the Dutch capital behind at 9:30 am, diving into rural Holland, a landscape which gradually changes the closer we get to Belgium. Passing through the beautiful Belgian countryside, we make our way to Brussels, the capital.
Having arrived, we'll make our first stop at the Atomium, the symbol of the city, and site of the 1958 World's Fair.
The tour then continues in the European quarter (where the European Parliament can be found), the Sacred Heart Basilica, the Royal Palace, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Courthouse, and many other key monuments.
Having parked the bus we'll begin our guided tour of the historic centre, visiting places such as the Grand Place, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, and the famous Manneken Pis, another of the most famous sights in the country, trying delicious Belgian chocolate on the way.
You'll have free time to eat (lunch not included) and wander the centre of Brussels, trying the typical waffles in one of the cafés in the capital, or browse its shops. Then in the evening, we'll begin the return journey to Amsterdam, arriving around 9 pm.
