We'll pick you up at your hotel in Bagan at 8:30 am and go by minibus to Mount Popa, one hour away. As we get closer, you'll see the magnitude of what we are about to meet. It is incredible!

Mount Popa is located more than 1500 metres (4900 feet) above sea level and is famous for being the religious dwelling of the Nats. You'll learn everything about the protective spirits of the gods in Theravada Buddhism, the religion followed in the temple located at the top of the mountain.

This enclave is one of the best-known pictures of Myanmar and the most visited place of worship in the country. When you reach the base of Mount Popa, you'll start climbing its 777 steps to get to its summit. We assure you that it will be worth your effort!

During the ascent, you'll make different stops so that you can enjoy the views and take impressive photographs. At the end of the ascent, you'll meet the particular inhabitants, monkeys, as well as the large Gong and the Myingyan plain from a spectacular perspective.

Afterwards, we'll go back down the stairs to return to the minibus and head to Bagan. On the way, we'll stop at some villages, such as Jan Lwee and Sin Luu, perfect for you to learn about the agricultural lifestyle of the area.

The tour will end back at your hotels Bagan at 4:30 pm approximately.
