Daintree, Mossman Gorge & Cape Tribulation Tour

On the day of the excursion, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cairns at 6:45 am and board the tour bus. After an hour's drive, we'll reach the first stop on our tour: Mossman Gorge.

After stopping for an energising cup of tea at the Mossman Gorge Gateway Centre, we'll delve into the valley. We'll embark on a guided walking tour of this spectacular tropical rainforest, one of the oldest in the world, accompanied by our guide who will reveal fascinating facts about its nature as we explore.

Returning to the bus, we'll make the journey to the banks of the Daintree River, where we'll enjoy a leisurely boat cruise through the Daintree National Park. Keep an eye out for the incredible plants and wildlife that thrive in the area: if we're lucky we'll see many different species of bird and maybe even crocodiles!

Next, we'll enjoy a well-earned break with a delicious lunch in the rainforest. Choose from steak, fish or a vegetarian meal served with fresh salad and fruits, and followed by coffee or tea.

Feeling energised after lunch, we'll head to our next stop: Cape Tribulation. We'll get to stroll along the beautiful beach of this coastal town and admire the rainforests and coral reefs that fringe it, before refreshing ourselves with a tasty locally-made ice cream.

For the finishing touch on a day packed full of sightseeing, we'll make a stop at Alexandra Lookout, a viewpoint which offers unparalleled views over the Coral Sea.

Our tour will come to an end with drop off back at your hotel in Cairns at 7 pm.
