Bohol Trip

You'll take your ferry from the Cebu terminal at 8 am, and head to Tagbilaran. And with a two hour journey behind you, you'll reach your destination: the beautiful Bohol island!

First we'll visit the famous Chocolate Hills - to figure out how they came by their unusual name! During the dry season the lush green hills turn brown and seem to be enormous chocolates, ready to be eaten!

Then we'll make our way to the Sandugo blood compact monument, which pays homage to what is considered to be the first peace treaty between Spain and the Philippines. Here your guide will bring the history of the country to life, before continuing on our route around the island.

Next stop will be the Balclayon church, one of the most important places of worship on Bohol, and the oldest stone church in the Philippines. We'll explore the temple, as well as the city museum, getting to know all about its history in the process.

Then, it's time to relax! We'll take a cruise on the Loboc-Loay river, while you satiate your hunger with a delicious lunch on board. The views of Bohol are the perfect backdrop to your mid-day meal, as the tour is slowly taken along by the current.

Some of Bohol's unmissable sights are the tarsier reservations. The tarsier is the smallest primate in the world and we'll visit one to get up close with this cutest of animals, which can only be found on Bohol island. And we'll see the Man Made Forest, the ecological project helping to reforest the island.

Our last stop will be the Butterfly Garden, before we take you back to the ferry terminal in Tagbilaran, where you'll make your way back to Cebu.
