Day 1
At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and set off on an excursion into the Thai jungle. First stop? The elephant sanctuary!
Once we arrive, we'll find out all about these incredible animals and even have the chance to feed them! Did you know that thanks to elephant footprints microsystems are created? Their deep footsteps serve as breeding grounds for small species!
Afterwards, we'll relax with a snack of seasonal fruits and at around 3:30 pm we'll leave the sanctuary and head to Karen village, where we'll spend the night.
For dinner we'll enjoy some traditional dishes cooked over the fire - what a treat! After learning all about the village's inhabitants, we'll go to bed.
Day 2
After breakfast accompanied by our hosts, we'll continue to learn all about the Karen people.
At 10 am we'll go on a hike through other villages to see organic farms and even see a waterfall. This is where we'll enjoy a delicious Thai lunch.
We'll also pass by another elephant sanctuary in the area, where we'll discover more about them and even take a bath with them!
At 5 pm we'll be back at our hotels in Chiang Mai.
Accommodation
This tour includes one night's accommodation in bungalows for two or three people. The rooms are equipped with mosquito nets.
