Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge Day Trip
Climb to the lofty heights of Ba Na Hills for spectacular views over the jungle-covered valleys of Vietnam and visit the iconic Golden Bridge and its world-famous giant hands. An unmissable day trip!
Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge Day Trip Itinerary
First thing in the morning on the day of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Hue, ready to set off on the three-and-a-half hour journey to the lush green Truong Son mountains.
Driving through the beautiful Vietnamese countryside, you'll reach a beautiful valley at the feet of Ba Na Hills: these mystical jungle-covered landscapes will be your home for the rest of the day. Climb on board the longest cable car in the world and soar up to the peak to enjoy unparalleled views over the surrounding countryside.
At the top of the hill, which is located at around 1,500 metres (almost 4,900 feet) above sea level, you'll first pay a visit to the Debay Wine Cellar, a winery founded by French colonialists. You'll then get to explore the Linh Ung Pagoda and marvel at the impressive statue of Lady Buddha, which towers over the temple at 60 metres (almost 200 feet) in height. Later on, you'll head over to the Lo Uyen Gardens, where you'll have the opportunity to see a famous historic pomelo tree.
Enjoy a well-earned break with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant, before making your way to a nearby park inhabited by some cute and friendly animals: monkeys!
For the cherry on the cake of an unforgettable day trip, you'll visit one of Vietnam's most iconic new attractions, the Golden Bridge. You'll also get to cross over the walkway itself to admire the famous giant hands that hold it up. Any idea what they symbolise? You'll soon find out!
End your tour in Hue or Hoi An!
When making your reservation, you'll have the choice between being dropped off back at your hotel in Hue or finishing in Hoi An instead.
