Discover the beautiful mix of Islamic architecture and the legacy of British colonial rule when you take our guided tour around the monuments and landmarks of Karachi.
Karachi Guided Tour
Our English language tour begins as we head from your hotel to the Mazar-e-Quaid National Mausoleum which is the resting place of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of modern Pakistan.
After learning all about the origins and life of 'The Great Leader', we will head to the Pakistani Airforce Museum. As we stroll through the open-air exhibition, we will observe numerous aircraft which have been used in different periods by the country's airforce. You will learn all about the history of the squadron and delve into the history of Pakistan, going back to the British colonial period which ran from the mid-19th century to 1947.
One of the most famous colonial monuments of Karachi is the majestic Frere Hall, which is the next stop on our tour. Used as a town hall during the years of British rule, this elegant building brings together Islamic and European architectural elements. The result of such a mixture of diverse artistic styles gives this building a wonderful unique stamp.
From Frere Hall, we will then pass along Clifton Beach and head towards the Pakistan National Museum and the Maritime Museum. We will visit the permanent collections in both venues so you can learn even more about the exciting history of this Asian country. In addition to its fascinating cultural attractions, Karachi is also notable for its fantastic offering of shopping. You will find out for yourself when we visit the popular Dolmen Mall.
Our last stop is Do Darya, a district with many restaurants where you can enjoy the famous Pakistani gastronomy in your own time. After lunch, we will then finally return to your hotel.
