Hiking Meteora Day Trip
The excursion from Kastraki to Meteora begins early in the morning, when you'll be picked up from your hotel. Then following a journey of just 10 minutes by minibus, we'll arrive at the legendary site itself.
Your English speaking guide will explain the origin of this mountainous area, and about the six monasteries which perch on the peaks, before hitting the trails to enjoy a gentle hike lasting about four hours.
Throughout the day we'll discover stunning viewpoints, offering unbelievable panoramas of one of Greece's most spectacular sights. And you can visit the inside of one of the most important monasteries in the area, the Grand Meteoro Monastery, or the Varlaam Monastery (entrance not included) depending on the day of the tour. This is not a guided tour, but your guide will give you all the relevant information to truly appreciate the structure before entering.
The route finishes at around 1 pm, when we'll accompany you back to your hotel in Kastraki.
