Krakow Rynek Underground Museum Tour

Head to the Main Square, in the city centre, to begin your guided tour through the ancient subterranean streets of Krakow.

Leave modern Krakow behind by walking down the steps into Rynek Underground Museum and go back in time to discover Krakow’s eventful history. The museum houses archaeological remains of merchant stalls that precede the famous Cloth Hall, as well as numerous multi-media exhibitions that describe the way of life of the first settlers in the area.

Your guide will reveal what Krakow was like during the Middle Ages while you wander through the underground route. Watch interesting videos about how the city has developed and admire the excavated remains of numerous buildings, monuments and even a cemetery, which has skeletons. 

While you listen to the most famous legends and superstitions about vampires and witches in Poland, follow your guide through the several rooms until you come to the end of the museum, having discovered the fascinating history of Poland’s former capital. Your tour will come to an end at around 7 pm.
