Wander around the Bolivian capital with this La Paz Guided Tour and discover unique locations including The Witches' Market, the church of San Francisco and the Murillo Square.

La Paz Guided Tour

We'll start in the best way possible, approaching the Killi Killi viewpoint to obtain a splendid panorama of the city. From this point, we'll also be able to see one of the symbols of La Paz: the Illimani Mountain

The tour will continue walking along the old Jaén street, one of the first to be built. Nowadays some of the most interesting museums of La Paz are located in this street, such as the Precious Metals Museum and the Murillo House Museum, where the revolutionary leader lived.

The next stop will be the Plaza Murillo, where we'll find the most special monuments of La Paz, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Government Palace and the Palace of Constituent Assemblies.

We'll then head to the San Francisco Church, a perfect example of Bolivian colonial baroque, before moving on to the commercial area to visit the local markets.

First, we'll see the Mercado de la Lanza, full of typical products such as coffee, ice cream or exotic fruit juices, and then we'll continue walking until we reach the Mercado de las Brujas, one of the most famous markets in La Paz. We'll see some of the most curious objects and ingredients used in ancestral rituals, and reveal the secrets of Andean mysticism.

The next market will be the Rodriguez Market, a perfect place to learn about local traditions, as well as the secrets to Bolivian gastronomy.

After three and a half hours getting to know La Paz, we'll accompany you back to your hotel.

On Mondays, Sunday afternoons and holidays the visits will be panoramic because the museums are closed.
