Kourion and Pafos Trip
After collecting you from your hotel in Larnaca, we will head along the south coast of Cyprus. After traveling for approximately an hour we will arrive at the fascinating archaeological site of Kourion (entrance not included), one of the principle Greco-Roman sites on the island.
Our first stop is at the remains of the ancient theatre. You will discover that this open-air venue, overlooking the Mediterranean, has been preserved in excellent condition over the centuries. During our tour around the archeological site, you will also visit the beautiful mosaics of the House of Eustolios, a palatial residence which belonged to 5th-century nobility.
We then follow the coastline of Episkopi bay and continue towards Paphos in the southwest of Cyprus. We will stop at the famous House of Dionysos (entry not included). Those who want can choose to take a self-guided tour around this majestic site from the Hellenistic period. When we reach Paphos, you will have approximately one hour of your own free time to eat at one of the local eateries and regain your strength. You will love the fresh fish which is served at the port.
After eating, we will head to the nearby town of Geroskipou to browse the market stalls selling traditional artisan and food products. Our last stop is at iconic Aphrodite's Rock, where you will hear the legend of this famous natural monument. After you have taken some photos of this stunning setting, we will finally return to the hotels in Larnaca.
