We'll meet at 9 am in the Lixouri's central square and set off on a guided tour of this picturesque town on the Greek island of Kefalonia. First, we'll head to the local markets of Lixouri and discover the traditional food sold from its charming stalls.
We'll continue walking until we reach the Tipaldou bookstore and the municipal theatre where we'll find out all about music in Lixouri.
Next, we'll head to the port of Lixouri to learn all about fishing, one of the most important activities for its population. You can even give it a go yourself!
Afterwards we'll go for a stroll along the promenade and admire the traditional, colourful boats that create the postcard image of the town.
Lastly, we'll take you to a traditional Greek café and recommend the best dishes for you to taste the local cuisine.
