Barcelona Day Trip Itinerary

Having met your guide at your preferred meeting point in Lloret de Mar, you'll be taken down the coast in the direction of the Catalonian capital, where you'll spend an unforgettable day discovering one of Spain's most cosmopolitan cities and one of the most visited in Europe: Barcelona.

Your sightseeing tour bus will take you on a route around this incredible city, making stops at its most emblematic monuments and landmarks. You'll have the opportunity to visit the iconic Sagrada Familia, an impressive basilica on which construction began in 1882 and which remains unfinished to this day. It was designed by celebrated Modernist architect Antoni Gaudí, whose characteristic use of natural shapes and forms can be seen both outside and inside the church, as well as elsewhere in the magical city.

The tour of Barcelona will continue into the Ribera district, where you'll hop off the bus to explore the imposing Gothic Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, before moving on to admire some of the city's most famous attractions. Discover why Gaudí's Casa Batllo has earned the nickname "The House of Bones", and marvel at the elegant Plaça d'Espanya, Palau Sant Jordi and Palau Nacional. You'll have free time at the Palau Nacional to take photos of the spectacular views from its hilltop vantage point.

You'll also be taken to see the port area and of course the famous La Rambla, which borders the Gothic Quarter, one of Barcelona's liveliest districts.

Finally, you'll be dropped off at the seafront monument to Columbus where you'll enjoy an hour and a half of free time to eat and explore the area at your own pace. At the end of the day, you'll return to Lloret de Mar, arriving around 4:30 pm.
