Montserrat Day Trip Itinerary

On the day of your tour, you'll set off from Lloret de Mar in the direction of the Montserrat mountain range, located near Barcelona. Having arrived in the town of Monistrol, we'll take you up the peak to the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, a monastery that dates back to the 11th century.

After around twenty minutes enjoying the spectacular sight of the tree-covered rocky mountains and impressive architecture surrounding you, you'll hear all about the history of the legendary monastery. You'll also be treated to a tasting of the traditional liqueur made by the monks who live in the abbey.

You'll then have free time to explore the monastery, constructed between curious rock formations whose origins have an interesting story behind them, and visit the famous venerated statue the Virgin of Montserrat that is said to have been found in a cave...

There will be free time for you to eat in one of the restaurants in the area, before you make the return journey to Lloret de Mar.
