Bahia del Abra Tourist Boat

At the Portugalete pier, a few metres from the Suspension Bridge, you'll board a traditionally designed boat. Enjoy the comfortable ride with a drink (not included), or if you prefer, you can sit outside and feel the breeze from the Ría del Nervión.

During the 40 minute route, you'll cross Bahia del Abra and its three main towns, Portugalete, Getxo and Santurtzi. All this will be accompanied by an English audio guide, which also includes old images of the most iconic spots in these towns, the Portugalete Suspension Bridge, the panoramic view of Getxo, the seafaring life in the port of Santurtzi... This way you can compare how these places have changed over the decades. 

You can hop off at any of the ports in these towns to tour their historic centre, and hop on our boat when it suits you best. 

How it works

The ticket is valid for 24 hours. During this time you can get on and off the tourist boat as many times as you like, and from any of the ports along the route (Portugalete, Santurtzi or Getxo).

Departure times

• Portugalete: 10.15 am and 2.15 pm.
• Santurtzi: 11.30 am and 2,30 pm.
• Getxo: 11.45 and 2.45 pm.
