Have an unforgettable experience when you visit a traditional Ticuna community in Puerto Nariño. You will discover the buildings and ancestral customs of these Indigenous people.
Ticuna Community Trip
We will pick you up at your hotel in downtown Puerto Nariño at your chosen time to set off on a 15-minute walk to a traditional Tikuna community.
Today, we will find out all about the local way of life for the Indians in this village. When we arrive, the inhabitants will welcome us with open arms and introduce us to their ancestral beliefs and customs. Then it is time for the ritual to begin. During the ceremony, the Ticunas will tell us all about their vision of life and the universe.
We will then move on to a natural painting workshop and enjoy some fun community games. When we finish, we will accompany the Ticuna families for a walk along the ancient trails that surround the settlement. Along the way, we will learn about the healing power of plants and the importance this has for these people.
After three hours discovering a completely new culture, we will walk back to Puerto Nariño and drop you off at your hotel.
