Sal Island Quad Bike Tour
Having picked you up from your hotel on Sal Island at 9 am, we'll make our way to Santa María. Here we'll meet our guide who will show you how to drive the quad bikes. Then, having finished this short introduction - start your motors, the fun begins!
The first stop to catch your breath will be by the Santa María salt pans - where you'll learn all about the history of this important natural resource. Then we'll continue to Fragata beach, and in the Murdeira Bay Marine Reserve where you can see the peculiar hill, the Monte Leão (lion mountain) known as "Sal island's sleeping lion".
Then, passing through Fontona we'll arrive at Palmeira. Following an hour of free time to eat, we'll then continue northwards to the famous Buracona natural pool. Having taken a refreshing dip, we'll cruise over to the Terra Boa desert, and the Pedra de Lume salt ponds, where you'll be able to float freely in its waters!
With the visit over, we'll make our way to the Parda bay to catch sight of some lemon sharks, before crossing the Serra Negra canyons on the way to Santa María. From where we'll take you back to your hotels, arriving around 1 pm.

- The quads are individual, with no space for a passenger.
