Husky Sled Ride

Meet in front of the Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromso city centre. From here, you'll be taken to the nearby island of Kvaloya, located just 30 minutes away.

Having reached Kvaloya, throw on the special snow-resistant thermal suits that will be provided for you. Then, wrapped up warm and cosy, you'll be ready to begin your husky dog sledding experience. During the ride, which will last around an hour and a half, you'll get to admire the landscapes around you while gliding over the icy plains of the island.

If you want, you'll be able to take the reins of the sled yourself and feel like a Norwegian local! What's more, you might even be able to see the glorious natural phenomena of the northern lights, which are often seen during the husky sled rides.

At the end of the sled tour, we'll head to a traditional tent or Lavvu where we'll warm up after our unforgettable experience with a coffee and cake.

After four hours of fun, we'll return to the original departure point in Tromso.
