Be part of an authentic Andean ritual in Urubamba with this trip to a Pachamama ceremony and express your gratitude to Mother Earth in a moving experience.
At 4 pm we'll meet outside the Tambo del Inka Hotel. Then we'll set off to meet the chamán and begin our unique experience in Urubamba.
The ceremony is known as Pago a la Tierra, meaning "Payment to the Earth", or Pachamama, a word from the Quechua language. You'll enjoy an unforgettable experience as the chamán performs the three parts of this ritual.
He'll read coca leaves and offer crops rapped in Andean textiles in an expression of gratitude to Mother Earth. At the end of the experience, we'll head back to the starting point for 6 or 7 pm.
