We'll meet at 11 am in front of the Puerta de la Cadena. Are you ready to see the garden of the Alcarria? We'll begin this private tour of Brihuega by recalling its medieval history, in which the assault in 1710 during the War of Succession stands out.

We'll walk along the remains of the medieval walls until we reach the church of San Felipe, one of the 3 parish churches in Brihuega. However, in the past, the small town of Alcarria had up to five churches. 

After visiting the temple, we'll head to the Royal Cloth Factory, a real industrial jewel of the 18th century. Another place we'll visit is the Plaza del Coso, where the Town Hall is located, the Arab caves and the prison, which dates from the reign of Carlos III. 

Following on, we'll cross the arch of La Guía and arrive at the Prado de Santa María, inside the walled enclosure of the Piedra Bermeja castle. As well as enjoying the tranquillity of this corner of Brihuega, we'll see the church of Santa María de la Peña and the Franciscan convent of San José. 

The tour will end at the arc of the Heart at 1 pm.
