Inhotim Institute, the World's Largest Outdoor Art Museum

Located in the mining town of Brumadinho, the Inhotim Institute stands as one of the most surprising cultural centers in Latin America.

Inaugurated in 2006, this giant museum combines art, landscape architecture, and environmental preservation in a space covering over 345 acres (140 hectares) open to the public. In fact, it's considered the largest outdoor contemporary art museum in the world. Welcome!

During your visit, you'll explore trails surrounded by lakes, tropical gardens, and exhibition pavilions that blend sculptures, immersive galleries, and monumental installations by national and international artists. Did you know many of the artworks were designed specifically for the natural setting of Inhotim?

As you explore the different routes, you'll discover rooms dedicated to the biggest icons of contemporary art, such as Yayoi Kusama, Adriana Varejão, and Tunga. Plus, the site is home to one of the most important botanical gardens in Brazil, with collections of rare species and spaces designed following sustainability criteria.

Due to the site's enormous size, Inhotim is designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace, taking your time. Ticket Options

During the booking process, you can choose one of the following options:

• Admission Ticket: only includes the ticket to the Inhotim Institute, where you can explore its gardens, galleries, and outdoor installations at your own pace. 
• Admission Ticket + Internal transport: in this case, along with the ticket, you'll have a shared internal transport service by golf carts included.
