Guilin to Yangshuo: Li River Cruise Itinerary
Make your way to Guilin port on the morning of your tour, ready to set sail down the Li River in the direction of Yangshuo. Once aboard your comfortable river boat, you'll be able to relax, enjoy the mild climate of this area of China, and best of all, marvel at unparalleled views of Guilin's famous karst landscapes.
As you sail down the Li River, you'll be left in awe of the dramatic limestone peaks, the luscious greenery covering them and the curve of the river. There's a reason that there's a traditional Chinese saying that "Guilin's scenery is best among all under heaven" - don't forget your camera!
After four and a half hours sailing, you'll arrive at Yangshuo port, where you'll disembark to discover the beautiful town at your own pace.
During your cruise, you'll be treated to a delicious typical lunch on board the boat. Enjoy dishes including rice; beef, chicken or pork, vegetables and Chinese style potatoes.
The best way to reach the meeting point is by taxi. The journey from Guilin lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours and should cost around 60 - 80 RMB.
