Discover traditional villages and beautiful Scottish landscapes with this Highlands tour and Harry Potter Train Experience. Keep an eye out for the Loch Ness monster too!

Highlands & Harry Potter Train Experience

At 7:30 am on the day of your tour, we'll leave from Inverness Bus Station and set off on our tour of the Scottish Highlands. Our first stop will be on the shores of Loch Ness, so keep your eyes peeled for Nessie, the loch's mythical monster! We'll also make a stop to admire Urquhart Castle.

The next stop on our tour will be at the Commando Memorial, constructed in honour of the Second World War combatants. From here, if the weather permits, we'll have the opportunity to see impressive views of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain.

Following on, we'll visit the Glenfinnan Viaduct, one of the filming locations for Harry Potter, and the small villages of Arisaig and Morar. We'll later arrive in Mallaig, the end of the West Highland Line, where you'll have an hour of free time to get some lunch.

Then, the Hogwarts Express awaits us! We'll board the Jacobite train, better known as the Harry Potter train. As you get comfortable, we'll travel past the deepest lake, the shortest river and the westernmost railway station in Scotland. We'll get off the train at Fort William, where we'll continue our bus tour to Fort Augustus, where we'll get to admire the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness. Our final stop will be at the Falls of Foyers and Dores Beach waterfalls.

At 8 pm we'll return to Inverness Bus Station.
