Cappadocia One Day Trip by Plane
Begin your day tour bright and early as you are driven to one of the city's airports (Istanbul International or Sabiha Airport) where you will take one of the first flights of the day to Cappadocia. After a 90-minute flight, you will land in this region full of natural wonders.
The first stop of the trip is Devrent Valley, world-famous for its surprising rock formations. You will appreciate why it is also known as Imaginary Valley as you walk through its moon-like landscape.
Continue the tour to Göreme Valley, a truly magical open-air museum, declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Wander around the area and marvel at its fairy chimney rocks and the houses and churches carved straight into the slabs.
Discover the troglodyte village of Uçhisar by foot and admire the beautiful panoramic views of the region from its citadel at the top of the highest peak of the region. Here, you will stop and enjoy the region’s traditional gastronomy for lunch.
After lunch, head to Monks Valley, home of the most striking fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. Here, you’ll visit one of its underground cities (Özkonak or Kaymakli), built by the Christian communities to defend themselves from the Muslim Arabs.
Afterwards, you will head back to the airport to take the 7:45 pm or 9:50 (depending on the availability of both) flight back to Istanbul. After you land, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Your guide will collect you from the following areas in the center of Istanbul: Ortaköy, Beşiktaş, Gayrettepe, Mecidiyeköy, Şişli, Feriköy, Osmanbey, Harbiye, Taksim, Beyoglu, Galata, Karaköy, Şehzadebasi, Laleli, Aksaray, Beyazit, Sultanahmet, Sirkeci, Eminönü, Findikzade, Fatih, Topkapi, Merter, Eyup, Samatya and Zeytinburnu.
If your hotel or apartment is not located in the previously mentioned areas, you'll be contacted the day before your tour and informed of a location where you should meet your guide.

All of our providers comply with local legislation and applicable health recommendations regarding protection and safety, to help avoid the spread of Covid-19. Specifically, the provider of this tour will apply the following measures:
- The use of masks is obligatory. The client must bring their own mask.
- All those running the service (guide, driver etc...) will wear a mask throughout its duration.

- Showing your voucher on your phone will be enough, and it is not necessary to print anything.
