Tarapoto Lakes Boat Trip
At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Nariño to start a boat trip that will take us through the picturesque lakes of Tarapoto. Get ready for an experience in the Amazon you will never forget!
We will start by sailing just over a mile down the Loretoyacu River to the Tarapoto wetlands system. This area is a biosphere reserve and home to river dolphins, crocodiles, and anacondas. If we are lucky, we may see some of these amazing creatures along the way.
Once we reach the Ramsar reserve, we'll follow one of the tributaries of the Amazon River into the magical flooded forest. From there, we will drift into the main lake and stop on its shores to enjoy a delicious snack and take a refreshing dip in its waters.
After a four-hour boat ride, we will return to Puerto Nariño where we drop you off at the dock.
